About Me

I am a lover of life, an ardent traveler, a social commentator and a travel journalist with Peoples Daily newspaper, the leading free newspaper in Kenya. I have also contributed to many other travel magazines like Nomad, Parents, Tembea na Silverstone, Fly 540, Samanthas Bridal and Air Kenya. 

In my travel journalism years, I have been privileged to work with various Tourism Boards in Kenya, SouthAfrica and Uganda and also great companies like Google and Uber to tell their stories. Its also been a magnificent experience visiting as well as working with different luxurious lodges, camps and hotels like Serena, Lonno Lodge, Mahali Mzuri, Angamara, Lewa, Asilia, Fairmont, and Sarova documenting their vision and what they offer to travellers. Conservation too is also my forte and I love to see how various groups, organizations, and people work tirelessly to see mother nature preserved for future generations. All this makes me passionate to see destinations open up not just for exploration and but also for humans to participate in responsible travel. 

On top of that, I have a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Sociology  and a Masters in International Studies from the University of Nairobi.
